The candidate must view this role as a ministry, to promote SU Volunteer Management and develop all aspects of our manpower needs. 

Job Description: 

1. Volunteer Management 

  • Manage a database of volunteers on our Contact Management System. 

  • Organize volunteer-related events/training; the annual Thanksgiving/Volunteer/Graduation Appreciation Evening and other volunteer-related work. 

  • Work strategically with Youth Ministry and Children’s Ministry teams to build, develop and sustain volunteer ties. 

2. HR Administration 

  • Manage all aspects of our manpower needs in compliance with MOM regulations; staff leave, Off-in-lieu, NS duties, maternity, child-care leave, hiring etc. 

  • Regular update of Staff HR Handbook. 

  • Group Hospital & Surgery, Personal Insurance, Term Life, Workplace Insurance; renewal/claims. 

  • Submission of Make-Up Pay Claim (NS portal), Maternity Leave Claims, etc 

  • Handle staff equipment (IT, laptops) at work. 

3. Others 

  • Support SU ministry functions and ministry teams as needed.
