Our Core Values
In obedience to our Lord Jesus Christ and in reliance upon the Holy Spirit, we seek to imbibe and practise the following 7 core values in our daily walk with and work for God:
1. Purpose – Reliability
We believe God’s purposes must become our purpose. We will seek to be reliable and faithful servants who have a deep passion for the Lord and the lost.
2. People – Relationship
We believe people matter most to the Lord. We will seek to relate to one another in love and unity as God’s holy and chosen people. We will relate to children and young people in ways that are in keeping with the times and yet focussing on the Lord.
3. Prayer – Reliance
We believe the effectual prayer of a righteous person avails much. We will not want to rely on our own intellect, abilities, experience and strength, but on the wisdom and strength of the Spirit of Christ through prayer.
4. Planning – Regularity
We believe good planning honours God although He can dispose of our plans. We will seek to plan and evaluate our work for the Lord on a regular basis
5. Proficiency – Readiness
We believe the servants of the Lord must be well-equipped for the ministry. We will seek to be always prepared through the study of His Word and to serve the Lord wholeheartedly in the places that He sends us to.
6. Progress – Renewal
We believe God is the one who gives progress and growth to our ministry. We will seek to renew our leadership and put in place people, policies and procedures that will enhance the overall effectiveness of the movement for God’s glory.
7. Project – Rigour
We believe that every project or ministry assignment from God must be undertaken seriously. We will apply rigour in meeting the deadlines of the various tasks involved to achieve the objectives and goals of each project.
