Children, Families, Churches

As early as the mid-1980’s, Scripture Union Singapore began to focus on Children and Families (CHIFAM) Ministries.   This is in concert with our mission of reaching out to young people and their families.  Indeed, the family is the ideal setting for the spiritual nourishment and growth of our children.

Our very exciting annual Scripture Union Primary Age (SUPA) camps have always been very well attended and our influence has expanded to conducting Holiday Trek programmes for children at church camps. 

In addition, we receive lots of invitations from Christian mission schools to conduct Chapel Services, sing-a-long sessions and other fun-filled but God-focused activities.  Churches also seek out our services for their children outreach programmes, Sunday School activities and church camps.

Over the years, CHIFAM Ministries have jointly organised numerous nation-wide events for children. These include the African Children Children’s Choir concerts in 1993, the ever popular Psalty Concerts in 1999 & 2001 and the ARISE Concerts in 2002, 2005, 2006 and the collaboration with KidsGames ARISE in 2007.

Our dynamic volunteer leaders are also very active and anointed by God to produce children praise and worship theme songs for local and regional children ministry.
